Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Instant Edge, the Instant Edge Business Snapshot, and our implementation and monthly services. Please read them before you engage us.
1. Who we are
ForwardPath Inc. (“ForwardPath,” “we,” “us”) is the company behind Instant Edge, our Intelligence Center for founder-led service businesses. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. What we provide
We help owner-operators see their business clearly and decide what to do next:
- Instant Edge Business Snapshot — a free, self-guided questionnaire that returns a high-level view of where your business may be leaking profit or losing time.
- Instant Edge Intelligence Center — a paid engagement in which we build an Intelligence Center on your own numbers, plus ongoing monthly work to keep it current and to advise on what it surfaces. Scope, deliverables, and cadence are agreed with you before we begin.
Instant Edge is an analysis and advisory product. It surfaces where your business may be underperforming and outlines a direction. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a guarantee of any financial outcome.
3. Fees & what you’re buying
Implementation and monthly engagements are quoted per engagement based on scope. Your fees, what’s included, and the billing cadence are set out in the proposal or order you approve before work begins. Fees are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the amounts you have agreed to. Monthly engagements continue until either party cancels with reasonable notice as described in your proposal.
4. Estimates and results
Any figure, “opportunity,” or score we show is an estimate derived from the data and answers you provide and from benchmarking against similar businesses. It is provided for planning purposes only. Actual results depend on your own execution and circumstances, and validating an estimate requires deeper financial and operational analysis. We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee that you will achieve any particular result.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and access. The quality of your Intelligence Center depends on the data you share.
- You are responsible for any decisions you make based on our work.
- Don’t misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it unlawfully.
6. Intellectual property
The Instant Edge platform, framework, question banks, reports, site content, and the Instant Edge and ForwardPath names are owned by ForwardPath Inc. Your own business data remains yours. You receive your Intelligence Center and reports for your own business use. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute our materials or software without written permission.
7. Cancellations & refunds
Because our work involves setup and ongoing personal time, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForwardPath Inc. and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any estimate or report. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which ForwardPath Inc. is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there.
